The first thing that we are going to indicate, in order to fully enter into what is the establishment of the terroir meaning, is that it is a term that derives from Latin. Specifically, its etymological origin is found in the word “terra”, which can be translated as “land”.
Terroir is a concept that is used to name compact earth . By extension, the notion is often used with reference to an individual's hometown or land .
