What Does pale Mean

The verb pallor refers to turning pale : that is, to acquire a whiter or softer tone on the skin of the face . Action, in a broader sense, refers to losing color, expressiveness or energy .

A person can turn pale for different reasons. This physical change usually associated with a lower arrival of blood flow to the skin , but can also be caused by a low level of red blood cells in the blood .
Often times turning pale is an abrupt and temporary effect of an emotion . In this sense, it is important to take into account that emotions provoke physiological responses so that the organism adapts to the circumstances and thus the subject can react to what caused the emotion.

When someone feels that they are in danger and fear, blood flow in the upper body is reduced as blood is directed to the lower extremities to promote flight. Therefore, in this situation, the face tends to pale.
For example: "When noticing that the child did not react, the woman began to pale" , "I think that as soon as I saw the armed man I began to pale" , "The film has several scenes that made me pale" .
Pale, on the other hand, refers to what suffers that whose splendor, relevance or strength diminishes : "The love in the couple began to pale after a trip to the Caribbean" , "The scandals of the private life did not manage to pale the fame of the actor ” , “ Fashion products tend to pale when newer ones appear ” .
