What Does opening Mean

Inauguration is a term that comes from the Latin language. The word inauguratio gave rise to the concept of Castilian that allows to refer to the action or the result of inaugurating .

This verb , for its part, is linked to specifying the opening of certain facilities, to officially announcing the beginning of an event or to premiering a certain work. The inauguration, therefore, is associated with a beginning.
In this case, the usual thing is that a tape is placed at the entrance of the door, usually with the color of the flag of the region or country, so that the higher-ranking authority cuts that one, thus allowing the entry of the rest of the people who attend the event.

For example: "The inauguration of the stadium will take place next Friday at 5:00 p.m." , "After the inauguration of the new plant, the governor boarded a plane and headed to Puerto Azul" , "When we finalized the inauguration of the company, it was a dream come true ” .
The usual thing is that an inauguration is developed with an act or a ceremony. What marks the inauguration is the starting point or the official beginning of something . An art exhibition, to cite one case, is inaugurated when someone responsible for the exhibition cuts a ribbon, makes a speech or carries out some other symbolic action. After the opening, the doors are usually open to visitors, although there are events where the official opening takes place a few days after the opening.
The weight that an inauguration has for those in charge is usually very different from that perceived by the public , since for the former it may mean the end of a long and arduous process of creation while for the others, the beginning of an activity in which they have not been involved so far. The combination of feelings and sensations that is usually appreciated in a ceremony of this type is very peculiar: the exhaustion tinged with satisfaction and expectations on the part of the organizers is coupled with the enthusiasm and concern of the people who admire the honored work for the first time.
On the other hand, there is the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games , which is also called the inauguration, and is characterized by the participation of internationally recognized musicians, the parade of athletes from all over the world, fireworks and shows that they combine acrobatics with choreography and plastic art. It is a very important part of the legendary sporting events, and it is usually the focus of a lot of pressure from the media and fans, even if they are not directly related to the event itself.
Within the history of this world sporting event, the inauguration of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics plays a fundamental role. And it is that all the international press described it as exciting. Elements such as these played a fundamental role in it:

• Opera was the protagonist thanks to the performance of great artists such as Montserrat Caballé, Plácido Domingo and Josep Carreras.

• The prestigious company La Fura del Bauls performed an amazing show that caused a great impact.

• Twelve casteller towers were built, in which a total of 2,174 people participated.

The authorities of a government usually carry out numerous inaugurations throughout their mandates. In these cases, the inaugurations of a school, a hospital or other infrastructures allow the dissemination of the works carried out by the State and add political capital.
It should not be forgotten that when certain works of great significance and importance for a city or country are launched, the usual thing is that an inauguration of the aforementioned works is also held. In that case, a time capsule is often performed. This is usually a box of great resistance, in which both coins in legal tender and newspapers of that day or important objects at that time are introduced.
This box is buried in the ground where the pillars of the building are to be placed and its objective is to record the day on which it began to be built.
When the inauguration takes place to celebrate that the construction or restoration work of a building such as a school, a temple or a hospital has been completed and that it can be visited and used by the public, the ceremony takes place once it is completed. have removed all the elements of the work, among which are scaffolding and polyethylene meshes intended to protect them.
