What Does current Mean

If we want to know the current term in depth, the first thing we must do is try to discover its etymological origin. And this is found in Latin, specifically in the verb currere , which is synonymous with “running”.

Current is an adjective that allows to name that or that which runs . The term can be applied to the passage of time to name the current moment or the one that is passing . For example: "The government promised a definitive solution in the course of the current month" , "The current year reflects a better financial performance of the company" .
Another current acceptance is linked to what is in use today or what was in use at the time it is spoken : "In those times, common clothing included a hat in the case of men" , "Current regulations it prohibits bathing in this river due to its high levels of pollution ” , “ The common currency in Europe is the euro ” .

What is commonly known or admitted , that which is unobstructed for its use or what happens frequently is also known as ordinary: "This is an ordinary machine, I don't think you have any problems using it" , "I bought an ordinary jacket , but the truth is that I needed it to avoid suffering with the low temperatures " , " It is common to see fights at night in this neighborhood .
Nor can we forget the existence of what is known as a marine current. It is a term that we use in the field of science to refer to the movements at surface level made by the waters of both the seas and the oceans.
Thus, for example, in the usual colloquial one can say: “The man who was swimming had a faint and that was what caused him to be dragged by the current of the sea much further inland.
In the same way, there is also the so-called river current, which is the sheet that the riverbed has at the surface. That is made up of the water supplied by the streams as well as the possible melting of what would be the snow.
And then, on the other hand, but also within the scientific field, there are the so-called air currents. These are very fast air flows that occur on various planets such as Earth.
The electric current , on the other hand, is a physical quantity that reflects the amount of electricity that in a unit time, flowing through a conductor. This flow of electrical charges is measured in amperes, according to the International System.
It is possible to distinguish between direct current (electric current that flows in the same direction) and alternating current (which reverses the direction of its movement according to a certain periodic frequency).
In addition to all the above, we must not forget the city of Corrientes. It is a city in Argentina that serves as the capital of the province that gives it its name.

This town has its origin in the 16th century, which has attractions such as the Convent of San Francisco or the Church of the Cross of Miracles.
