Definition of Armada

The nations have their own security forces that take care of the security of the inhabitants and also of the defense of their borders , be it land, water or air , while, who is responsible for this work in the waters is precisely to the navy .

So, those who belong to this force are specially trained to perform in an aquatic environment. And they not only receive training to know how to move in this area but also with regard to the manipulation and management of ships that move precisely through the waters: aircraft carriers, destroyers, submarines, ships, corvettes, frigates, among others.
Although, as we have already mentioned, the members of these forces have a special instruction in all matter that involves water, there are also special bodies within it, which, due to the characteristics of the work that they have to perform, also receive a special practice on land. and in the air, such are the cases of the marines and naval aviation.
Warships that are vessels that are used with a strictly military mission, at the behest of a war, usually include runways for airplanes and also for helicopters that embark and that will have to deploy special actions within the framework of the attack procedures that are schedule.

The same happens with the marine infantry, which, for example, must take care of the safety of naval vessels, carrying out strict surveillance on the coasts.

As with all those security forces of a nation, they are structured under a hierarchical organization in which there are various positions, such as: captain general, admiral, vice admiral, frigate captain, lieutenant commander, lieutenant, ensign .
There are nations that have a long and notable significance in this regard, such is the case of Spain and England . Both countries knew how to be dominators of the waters in the past and even this allowed them to make unforgettable conquests, in the Spanish case the discovery of America , to mention one of the most important examples.
It is worth noting that the navy is also often called in our language as the navy.
