Definition of Apology for Terrorism

Apology is an action that implies that a person, through a speech or a written document, praises or exalts some activity or an individual, so that he or she does or thinks.

It should be noted that normally the concept is attributed a negative connotation because it is especially associated with the praise and glorification of illegal or morally reprehensible activities, as in the case of the consumption of drugs or violence , to cite some cases more common.

And for its part, terrorism consists of that activity through which groups or organizations that fight for a political issue develop actions plagued with violence to precisely impose their ideology and finally destroy the peace and the current state of affairs with which by of course they do not agree.
That is to say, they want to establish a state of fear and insecurity among the population of the geographical place in which they act in order to gradually achieve total destabilization that allows them to impose themselves on them as authority .

So, the apology of terrorism is precisely to endorse through actions or by saying the action of a terrorist group. That is, the one who makes an apology of this type will defend and support with words and even concrete actions everything that the terrorist group in question proposes.
Terrorism is a scourge that the planet has experienced for a long time, and even in some geographical areas it is really bloody and recurrent. Some paradigmatic cases that we can cite as examples are the Basque terrorist organization ETA , intimidating the Spanish people with massacres and bombs; the FARC in Colombia , also sowing fear with their virulent attacks; and of course Al Qaeda , the Islamic extremist group that perpetrated in 2001 the act of greatest terror in the United States by shooting down the World Trade Center with planes piloted by suicide bombers .
It is worth mentioning in conclusion that this action is punishable by law since it constitutes a serious affront to the peace and harmony of any state of law . Especially since terrorism is plain and simple a crime, and therefore, encouraging or supporting it is too.
